At Home Decoration Store, we take as much care with our returns policy as we do when selecting each decorative box, sculpture, and vase for our collection. We want you to be completely satisfied with your artisan-crafted home decor pieces.

Our Return Promise

If your item arrives damaged or isn’t quite what you envisioned for your space, we’ll gladly accept returns within 15 days of delivery. All returned items must be in their original condition with packaging intact—just as we carefully hand-wrap them in our Hoffman Avenue studio.

Non-Returnable Items

To preserve the integrity of our collections, we cannot accept returns on:

  • Custom or personalized decorative items
  • Opened collections of decorative plates (due to hygiene reasons)
  • Items marked as “final sale”

How to Return an Item

Step 1: Initiate Your Return

Contact our customer care team within 15 days of receiving your order at [email protected] with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of any damaged items
  • Reason for return

Step 2: Receive Return Authorization

Our team will respond within 1 business day with:

  • Return authorization
  • Shipping instructions
  • Return shipping label (for damaged/incorrect items)

Step 3: Package & Ship Your Return

Please repackage your item with the original packaging materials. For fragile items like vases and decorative plates, we recommend double-boxing for protection during return shipping.

Step 4: Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return:

  • Refunds will be processed within 3-5 business days
  • Your refund will be issued to your original payment method (Visa, MasterCard, JCB, or PayPal)
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable (except for damaged/incorrect items)

Note: Depending on your financial institution, it may take additional time for the refund to appear on your statement.

Exchange Process

For exchanges of decorative items:

  1. Follow the return process above
  2. Include a note specifying your desired exchange item
  3. We’ll ship your new item once the return is received

For expedited exchanges, you may place a new order and return the original item separately.

International Returns

For our customers outside the United States:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer
  • We recommend using a trackable shipping service
  • Customs fees are non-refundable

Damaged Items

If your decorative piece arrives damaged:

  1. Contact us immediately with photos of the damage and packaging
  2. We’ll arrange for return shipping at our expense
  3. Choose between a replacement or full refund
